Of course, the claims don't end there. Apparently the ingredients in Thyrotril are also effective in suppressing appetite, reducing hunger pangs, and positively effecting blood lipid levels.

Ephedra, an ingredient common to most popular fat burners prior to the U.S. ban in early '04, may be making a comeback. On April 14, Judge Tena Campbell of the U. S. District Court in Salt Lake City struck down the FDAs (Food and Drug administration) ban on the sale of the herbal supplement ephedra. According to the judge, the FDA had not met the burden of proof that any specific dosage of the controversial weight-loss drug ephedra was dangerous.

Biotest has been making much ado about Fahrenheit, its fat burner "especially" formulated for women. A quick glance at the ingredients however, reveals nothing out of the ordinary.
